Fondue Recipe

SWISS CHOCOLATE FONDUE

  • 1/3 cup whipping cream
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Grand Marnier (optional)

Bring whipping cream to simmer in heavy medium saucepan. Reduce heat to low. Add chopped chocolate and 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier (optional); whisk until mixture is smooth. Remove fondue from heat and blend in remaining 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier (optional). Transfer chocolate to fondue pot. Place pot on rechaud base over a candle. Serve with angel food cake pieces, ladyfingers and a variety of fruit for dipping. Serves 4
