Had a terrible experience with this slicer AND the replacement wires. Original wire on the slicer broke on the 2nd use. Thought I must have got a bad one so I ordered 2 replacement wires. One of the replacements was assembled incorrectly and it couldn't be installed. I got the other one installed but when I went to tighten it up, it broke as well. Threw the whole thing in the trash. Most expensive 2 slices of cheese in my life.
