I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. He loves it!!! Typically, cooking your food at the table is something you find in other cultures, but this is a game changer for our home. It makes supper time so much fun. Our boys (7 and 9) ask to have "the grill" for supper all the time. Awesome way to introduce cooking to your kids. It doesn't replace our big grills out on the deck, this is something totally different. I chop vegetables and thinly slice different meats and put everything in bowls on the table. Add some sliced guyere to the mix and everyone can cook everything just how they want. This is a high quality grill. We have the stone top. You do not have to have the heat very high to get a good temp for cooking. We have used olive oil and butter on the stone surface and for us the butter worked better and made clean up easier as well. I looked at other brands online that were lower in cost, but there weren't a ton of good reviews either. Glad I chose this grill as it will be something that we will use for many, many years.
