    works perfectly but...

    Function is excellent. It cuts perfect matchsticks in two sizes, as well as slices. The design is quite awkward, though. I still have not figured out how to keep it in my kitchen.

    Borner Slicers are THE BEST!

    I remember my Mom using a Borner Mandoline decades ago and she used it often. I love to cook and have a beautiful green Borner V-Slicer Mandoline and love it!!! I use it for shredding cabbage for salads, slicing and dicing onions and carrots for soups and salads, slicing rhubarb for compotes and pies, making long slices of zucchini and eggplant for veggie lasagne, making thick julienne cuts of potatoes for fries, slicing citrus fruits for refreshing drinks ... the list goes on!!! I would highly recommend this product - it will become one of your favorite kitchen tools!
